Kovalam

Kovalam, an internationally acknowledged tourist destination located 16 km away from Thiruvananthapuram city, was a favourite hub of Europeans right from the 1930s. Even today, it is a favourite holiday spot for visitors from all over the world. The spectacular beach consists of three adjacent crescent shaped beaches. The wider one is the Lighthouse Beach and the other two beaches are situated on the north side and called Eves or Hawa Beach and Samudra Beach. Apart from sunbathing and swimming, Kovalam Beach offers activities like canoeing and catamaran cruises.
